    This week for my blog I listened to "Tim McGraw" by Taylor Swift. This song is one of the few songs that I have done for blogs for this class that I had listened to previously. I have always loved Taylor Swift and I am especially fond of her older more country style. This was one of Taylor Swift's first songs and I have always really liked it. It has the cool feel of first young love and looking back on that. I love how she talks about specific memories of first love and how music helps to take the intended audience back to that. I always liked the thought of listening to a specific artist and being taken back to a time. I have enjoyed some of Taylor Swift's newer albums but I was pretty excited when she rereleased some of her old stuff recently. It always takes me back to listening to the radio in the back of my mom's truck as a kid. I think this song really exemplifies that feeling of looking back at music and having memories associated with it. I always love when songs can bring up emotions or bring back a distant memory and this song defiantly has that effect on me.
