    For my blog this week I choose the song "Hotel California" by The Eagles. I had a hard time deciding between songs this week but I eventually settled on this one because I have loved this song for a while and it definitely has Halloween vibes. I really like the creepy aspect and the mystery this song conveys. It is also a very iconic song. I even have a t-shirt with the first line of the song on it. This song is cool because it has a story that it tells through the song. You are constantly trying to figure out what is going on in this hotel and what is happening to these people. I also really like the guitar solos in this song. It does make the song pretty long and while listening to it three times at six minutes apiece, it got a bit boring after a while. But, I still found myself enjoying the guitar and the lyrics as they are timeless and help to convey the feelings of mystery and suspense even after the third time. Overall, I really enjoy this song and feel it is an essential classic, especially for your Halloween playlist.

    This is such a good song! Im glad you chose to analyze it. I agree that it kind of gives creepy halloween vibes. I think that this is a very iconic song that most people know. The storyline is very interesting and it really draws you in.

    I like this song as well and your right it definitely has Halloween vibes. I too like the mysterious side of this song. The guitar solos are also really awesome and I love how the song tells a story too.

    I like that you mention the aspect of this song having a story to it. A story really allows you to get into a song and draws you into the music, it makes you consider the lyrics more and think about the song hours after you listened to it.
