For my blog this week I choose a Beatles song that was not on the list. I choose the song "When I'm Sixty Four." This is my favorite Beatles song so I figured I should enjoy listening to it. This song is my favorite because it is super upbeat and has a really cute message. It asks the question of if the singer's love will still love him when he's old. It goes through the different adventures that they could have if she will still love him. I love this message of loving someone into old age. I also love the music of this song. It is super happy and has a great beat. This song is one that I feel defines the kind of relationship I want to have when I am older. I love listening to this song and imagining my future marriage and living out my life with someone. It makes me so happy and optimistic to think about and that is one of the reasons I enjoy this song so much. I feel like it is also one of the Beatle's more upbeat songs and I really enjoy that aspect of this song as well.

    That is awesome that you were able to enjoy this song! I absolutely love songs that are upbeat and are optimistic about the future. Lately there have been a lot of songs that I've heard that are more about heartbreak than of enduring love. I love seeing older couples and you can just tell that they still love each other by how they treat one another. Living and being with someone into the older years I think will be wonderful!!!

    I really like that you were able to pick something that wasn't even on the list for this week. Its always nice to mix it up and be able to listen to something different that what is in class. I love that you were able to enjoy an upbeat song. Its always nice to have a good song that you can listen too. I think its so awesome that you can think of your future when you listen to this song. Its always fun to think of what could happen through different things like songs.

    I haven't listened to this song much until now, but it really is a fun song, and I think it's great that this is one of your favorite songs. I love that this song is written looking towards the future. I think of songs that Taylor Swift write about love and how different it is because she's writing about love in the present. Great job!

    I love the Beatles. They really are one of the greatest bands. I don't think I have ever actually heard this one though.i am glad you chose to write about this song, so i can now go listen to it. I think the Beatles have written some of the best songs out there. They have written so many catchy, upbeat, fun songs.I really enjoyed your blog post and hearing your thoughts and what you envisions this song to be. Awesome job!

 Listening Blog #9      For my blog this week, I choose the song "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" by Willie Nelson. This is a very iconic song in the country music genre and one that I really enjoy. It is a very sad song but is surprisingly simple. It tells the story of love dying as the singer leaves his love forever. This song has a story in it that really reminds me of a movie.
